Bio
Sarah Mominee coached two seasons as a graduate assistant coach with the Ohio State University Women’s rowing team. The first season was coaching novices, most of which had never rowed before. The second season was assisting with the varsity boats, where she coached the varsity fours.
She rowed for OSU from 2003-06. As a senior in 2006, she missed the regular season with a rib injury but returned for the postseason. She stroked the First Varsity Four to third place in the Grand Finals of the NCAA championships, which at the time served as the highest placing for an OSU boat at the national championships. She earned the team's Golden Buckeye Award that same year.
She graduated in 2006 with a bachelor of science in both biology and zoology. She then went on to receive a master of science in entomology, all from Ohio State University.
